I always love visiting the children each time I travel to India! As I look into their faces—each one sponsored so they can attend a private Christian school because, as the offspring of parents with leprosy, they are ostracized at public schools—I'm filled with joy knowing that we are giving them a future they would otherwise never know.

The majority of Western girls now begin planning and preparing their wedding day at an early age, memorizing every mushy love story from Cinderella to Princess Bride, downloading bridal planner apps, and flipping through picture perfect photographs on Pinterest, ingraining the image of a white dress in their minds.

Did you know that today about 40,000 people will die having never heard the precious name of Jesus? This is why we work so urgently to bring the gospel to unreached peoples.

Certain days you hear news that totally wipes you out. Sometimes it's good news that gets your day off to a great start. Other times you are glad you opened that email while still in bed so that you can just quietly close your laptop, pull the covers over your head, and try to shut out the pain.

I'm happy to report that the gifts many of you offered to help Rohingya refugees from Myanmar now living in India have finally brought the "light" of Jesus to many!

Recently Pastor Paul Fang and his wife, Lisa, celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary in the same way they began both their courtship and their marriage: by sharing it with the leprosy-afflicted patients who reside at East Gate Leprosy Colony. That's because they've come to love these saints as members of their own extended family, not clients of their "ministry" or "job."

One of the greatest privileges I've had ministering in China these last 20 years is seeing the fruit of the largest church planting movement in history. The House Church Movement in China was birthed in prayer, tested by persecution, multiplied by healing and deliverance, and propagated by simple house church models focused on simple obedience to Jesus as an expression of their love for Him.
