In a predominantly Islamic country in North Africa, Shameer returned home from a 3-day evangelistic outreach. When he arrived home, he was devastated to see that his home had split in two.

Flooding had destroyed the simple building that he, his wife and three children had called "home." The flood also ruined all of their food and belongings.

Since the flood, they've been managing to survive under a tarp-like covering. But it does very little to protect them from the elements. They are surviving on about one meal per day from whatever Shameer can beg from his neighbors. They are existing in day-to-day survival mode.

While the flood affected many in the area, the Islamic government has purposefully excluded Christians from receiving any aid or help.
