Save Esther’s Life with a Well

Esther Nanjala’s family is dying—and so are the others in her village. Last year, Esther’s mom died. And her baby brother. They need water—can you help them before others die?

Every day, Esther walks on foot 4 miles from her village Mukhweya, Kenya, to collect water from the nearest available water supply—a hole in the ground. She scoops muddy water to take back home for her family to use… to bathe… and drink… and cook.

Esther’s mom and baby brother both died because they got sick from drinking this polluted, disease-laden water. They have no other water source in the dry season.
