I want to take this opportunity to share with you the diligence of one of our national missionaries who's working hard to reach others with the gifts received by the Strategic Bibles Ministry. Towards the end of last year, I received this incredible praise report from Timothy Rai, our faithful brother in Christ who serves as a missionary in Nepal.

Let me introduce you to Nge Nge, one of the newest co-laborers we’re working with at Heaven’s Family. Born in a small rural town in Myanmar (Burma), she was just 3 months old when her father tragically died in a car accident. “There are no words to explain such feelings,” she now says with an aching heart about the father she never knew. After his untimely death, his widow was unable to support her young family, so she sent Nge Nge and her other children to live with different relatives. Nge Nge only saw her mother during school holidays.
"My children are crying for food. I am helpless. I have no money. There's no hope…" lamented Setara Begum, a Rohingya refugee and mother of two, one of whom is just 5 months old. Such desperation is now being felt by thousands of Rohingya refugees impacted by Cyclone Mora, which struck Bangladesh 3 weeks ago.
Stealing food was a basic instinct for young Samuel—he had to survive. He had no mother, no home, and, like his father, lived on the crowded streets of Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. The future looked hopeless for Samuel, and it became even bleaker when he was eventually caught and imprisoned at the Shikusa Juvenile Centre.
Although foremost in my heart is my desire that the Strategic Bibles Ministry meet the spiritual needs of new converts, the poor often have profound humanitarian needs as well.
