A Hole in the Wrong Place
Sometimes we just cannot imagine the problems some people have, especially some of the folks who live in Lira, Uganda.

BOOM(!) is the best way to describe the economic climate that has characterized China over the past few decades. This has caused millions of villagers, from remote regions, to migrate to the nation’s mega-cities. Much of this new surge in the population are from unreached people groups and, although this means that there are still millions of souls who have never heard the precious name of Jesus, God has continually paved the way so that we may be able to reach China’s unreached with the gospel in ways we’ve never been able to before.

Attempting to rise, he winced at the sharp pain that shot through his body. Every breath felt as if someone was driving a spear into his ribs—which, unbeknownst to him, were indeed broken. Although Dae had felt the fear of being beaten by a pair of strangers, he was not surprised.
During the Micro-Loan Ministry’s recent visit to Kigumba, Uganda, Isaac and I—along with our newest team member Jenna Liberati—met with some of our incredible micro-bankers. Suffice it to say, this trip left us overwhelmed with evidence of the amazing work the Lord is doing in and through the lives of our borrowers, and one particular borrower stood out to us. We couldn’t wait to share his story with you!
