Every month, Heaven’s Family helps far more people than we could ever highlight in our bi-monthly newsletter. For that reason, this page contains additional photos and stories of some of the “least of these” among our spiritual family whom we’ve recently been blessed to serve.
There is nothing more beautiful to witness than the heartfelt worship of lives set free. The photo above shows some survivors of human trafficking in the Philippines uniting their hearts in thankfulness to the Lord for all He has done. Revival has been ignited in the hearts of these young women. What better report could we hope for?
We have a valued partner in Puebla, Mexico who focuses on rescuing children from sexual exploitation. These victims have suffered terrible abuse, chronic neglect, and/or total abandonment. When we can rescue them from the evil clutches of exploitation on the streets, we can set them on a path toward thriving and prepare them to be all God has planned for them to be!
Alice first noticed a lump on her neck 12 years ago. But because she lived in poverty, she never went to a doctor. Such a visit was beyond anything she could ever dream of affording.

Though this story is difficult to read, it gives a clear picture of the horrible reality many young women in Africa face.
After several months of closure due to COVID-19, I am happy to report that children have returned to in-person learning in Kenya! (No, virtual learning isn't an option at slum schools in Africa.)
