Babies in the bushes. It can be hard to fathom, but some babies simply are not wanted. In Mombasa, Kenya, babies are abandoned in alleyways, bushes, latrines, and some are left at the hospital after the mother flees without a trace after giving birth.

In most of these cases, the fragile little babies are left for dead. This is truly a societal tragedy. Infant abandonment has many causes, some rooted in extreme poverty or because of rape. But just like you, we believe that every child deserves a chance at life!

The babies that are found alive and rescued desperately need nutrient-rich formula to help them grow, especially since some of them are found dehydrated and malnourished.

The dedicated, Christ-filled staff at the baby rescue center in Mombasa typically have about 13-16 babies and toddlers at any given time. As they nurse the infants back to health, they try to find them loving, adoptive homes.

But, because of COVID lockdowns, many adoptions came to a screeching halt. As a result, the center has swollen to almost 10 more babies than normal—they are currently caring for 26 babies at the time of this writing.

These babies have been given a second chance at life, but without proper formula, their growth and health could be stunted and the consequences could be serious.

For about $19, you can provide an entire month of lifesaving formula for 1 baby. We're hoping to provide an entire year's worth of formula for all 26 babies (costing a total of $5,978). Can you help?
